Covid-19 impacting BAME charities

Ubele supports a wide range of communities, community-based organisations and groups with their community assets (people and physical spaces), through social action, community enterprise development and next generation leadership initiatives.

After a grave concern of how Covid-19 is effecting BAME charities in particular, Ubele have adapted their work to ptovide a strategic response as well as practical support to such charities.

BAME Covid-19 Emergency Planning Group released a statement

We highlight urgent concern that BAME communities who are both on the frontline dealing with outbreak and are set to face disproportionate impacts, are not being adequately included and considered in decisions being made by government and civil society leadership.
