A new Covid-19 Emergency Fund is now open to applications from grassroots Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) in London to help them respond to disabled people’s needs during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Projects lasting until the end of June 2021 will be funded to encourage independent living, reduce isolation, and improve income levels amongst Disabled People. The Disabled People’s Organisations – Covid 19 Emergency Fund will provide grants of £1,000 - £25,000 to pay for equipment, running and staffing costs as well as covering a full cost recovery model.
Two webinars will be held in September and other support will be available for DPOs applying to the fund which will be administered by Inclusion London on behalf of the National Emergency Trust.
The closing date for applications is the 5th October 2020.
