The 10th anniversary of the Equality Act
About this Event
Ten years ago, the Equality Act 2010 consolidated discrimination laws into a single piece of legislation. To mark the 10th anniversary of the Equality Act, this meeting in partnership with Community Union will look at the resources available to small charity employers and staff to combat discrimination.
We will look at how different groups have been served (or not served) by the Act and some of the key cases that have characterised the last 10 years.
Guest Speaker: Lauran Crowley, Head of Equality, Community Union Facilitator: Rita Chadha (SCC)
Suitable for trustees, staff and volunteers of small charities.
