Applications are now open for funding to help childcare providers in Scotland meet the extra costs of complying with public health guidance.
The Transitional Support Fund, provided by the Scottish Government, will provide one-off grants of between £1500 and £8000 to private, voluntary and not-for-profit sectors, including out-of-school care providers, and will be based on Care Inspectorate registered capacity.
Eligible settings can apply for a grant to help them meet the extra costs incurred to enable them to reopen, such as increased cleaning, new or additional equipment, better outdoor spaces or adaptations to buildings.
To be eligible, settings must confirm that they have already reopened.
The deadline for applications is the 9th October 2020.
